Do you want to try the fascination of a timeless stay immersed in nature and history? Villa de Winckels is the place that can give you all this. Near the magical Verona and Lake Garda, among the vineyards and hills of the Illasi Valley, between Valpolicella and Lessinia. A well known territory which is characterised also by enogastronomical excellences which our restaurant proposes in its own menus to give you a 360 degree experience.

So why not add a little relaxation after dinner by staying at the Villa?

The ancient Villa was built between 1100 and 1400 Respecting the architectural canons of the original building, without altering the fascination but instead preserving it, we created inside the family home ten different bedrooms in a country chic style: romantic and with an atmosphere for the couple, spacious and welcoming for the family, but with every comfort for whoever travels on business with the possibility of organising also meetings and company dinners with us.

Villa de Winckels is a Residence of Epoch and has been inserted in the list of the Ville Venete of the Veneto Region.

Our Rooms

All paintings in Villa de Winckels have been realised by the architect Guido Pigozzi, who also followed the restoration of the Villa in 1992.
They represent the pictorial path of the artist in various moments of his evolution. Initially talking inspiration from Lessinia and the hills that surround the Illasi valley, later they are more abstract and inspired by “Forni” the biggest factory of the valley, built in 1922 and the remains are visible from the main road of the town Tregnago.
All paintings are on permanent exhibition inside Villa de Winckels and, on request, can be bought.
